The career outlook for pharmacy aides is good. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) the expected increase in job opportunities is 25% to 2018. This is a faster than average for all occupations. This is due to the ever-aging population requiring more prescription drugs and the possibilities for the increase in health prescription drug coverage. Job creation will be made to replace people leaving this occupation as they advance.
